The dry screw vacuum pump features a pump cavity that houses a pair of multi-stage helical rotors rotating synchronously in opposite directions, dividing the cavity into several isolated chambers. During normal operation, as the rotors mesh and rotate, an induction chamber forms and gradually increases in volume to draw in gas. When the chamber reaches its maximum volume, it transitions into an intermediate chamber. This intermediate chamber moves the gas from the intake toward the discharge. When it aligns with the discharge port, it becomes an exhaust chamber. As its volume decreases, the chamber expels the gas. Once emptied, the next intermediate chamber connects to the discharge port, and the cycle repeats continuously – creating sustained vacuum suction.
