Oil-Free Rotary Scroll Air Compressor

During research and development of KDR series rotary scroll oil free air compressor, tremendous effort has been put into reduce machine’s maintenance cost and time, yet to deliver 100% oil free compressed air. It avoids the trouble of adding lubricating oil periodically and the risk of oil contamination in the production system. What's more, there are no wearing parts in KDR oil-free compressor, only air filter element has to be selected regularly. Plug and play with power supply, easy operation, fully automatic, power saving are just few customer benefits for peace of mind.

Working Principle of KDR Series Oil-Free Scroll Compressor
Rotary scroll oil free compression is realized by rotational motion of static plate and moving plate.

The air is sucked in from the suction port at the outside of the fixed scroll. The air enclosed in the confined space is compressed towards the center when the compression chamber is becoming smaller due to the rotation movement. The compressed space becomes smallest at the center, and the air compressed to the highest limit is discharged out from the central exhaust port.

The movement Figure 1-4 (Suction-Compression-Exhaust) is repeated thereby to produce compressed air without pulsation.

Intelligent control system

It is controlled by a microcomputer and runs fully automatically. It detects the exhaust pressure, temperature and other operating data. Through the joint action of the microcomputer controller, frequency converter and frequency conversion motor, it outputs a constant exhaust pressure for the user. When the air is not used for a long time, it can automatically shut down and restart when the air is restored, thus achieving the purpose of energy saving (frequency conversion model); Chinese and English display, with 12 important indicator warnings; the display screen displays pressure, temperature, maintenance reminders, high temperature and high pressure records of the operation history for maintenance and reference, and can provide manual and automatic control functions to maximize the reliable operation of the air compressor and increase its service life.

State-of-the-art Compressor Scroll airend
Optimal energy efficiency and outstanding reliability is achieved from patented design high precision dynamic and static scroll head vortex plate and housing, superior bearings and sealing kit that help the compressor scroll heads to operate with good dynamic balance, low vibration, low rotation speed. Structured separately compression chamber and transmission components to guarantee absolutely oil free air delivery. Twin inlet design minimizes suction pressure drop by 2% and reduce risk of internal leakage that improves efficiency by 10-15%. Compression chamber is totally partitioned away from any lubricated/greased moving parts that assure 100% oil free air delivery.
Efficient cooling system
The enlarged high efficiency air-cooled aftercooler and two stage aftercooler design for multi scroll head models are specifically designed for hot climate to assure all components work perfectly even under high ambient temperature and humidity. Workload of downstream air treatment system equipment is minimized due to CTD of discharge air only 8-10oC above ambient temperature.
High efficiency heavy duty inlet air filtration system
Pre-filtration panel together with big capacity inlet filter element can remove dust particles and reducing noise level effectively, yet minimize pressure drop. Filtration efficiency is up to 99.9%. Cooling air is ducted into air filter from outside of air compressor via special ducting design, this cold ventilating air significantly improves compression efficiency.



Silenced Canopy Design

The facts that compressor canopy adopts multiple sound insula-tion structural design and sound absorbing materials stuck to internal surface of unit can minimize noise level to the lowest.
