ADEKOM Shield Tunneling Air Compressor is a high-performance solution engineered to meet the unique demands of shield tunnel boring machines (TBMs). Designed to excel in challenging environments characterized by high temperatures, humidity, mud, dust, and vibration, these compressors address the strict spatial and operational constraints of shield tunneling machines.
Optimal Energy efficiency and outstanding reliability is achieved from patented design third generation non-symmetric robust rotors, superior bearings and oil seal that help the compressor airend to operate with good dynamic balance, low vibration, low rotation speed and low noise level.
T.E.F.C Highly efficient, totally enclosed fan-cooled (T.E.F.C.),IP55, class F electric motor can achieve high efficiency of 95.2% that brings an unprecedented level of energy saving. High quality high speed bearings from “SKF”are fitted for continuous trouble-free operation.
The external oil and gas separator element design enables a larger separation space and more efficient separation. The external design makes it easier to maintain the separator element as it can be replaced without disassembling the oil and gas drum, which significantly improves maintenance efficiency and reduces downtime.
The core function of the brazed plate stainless steel heat exchanger, which is customised according to the size of the shield air compressor, is to efficiently cool the heat generated in the process of compressed air, ensure the stable operation of the air compressor, and extend the life of the equipment. The high temperature in the compressor discharged air is effectively absorbed and removed through the circulating water system, providing continuous and stable power support for the shield construction.
The simple-to-use automatic electric control panel continuously monitors and displays overall system performance status with pro-active service indications, alarms for malfunctions and safety shutdowns. Advanced sequence control for multi-units installation and remote control as option.
