We’re proud to be part of a major milestone in China’s tunneling industry! Zhejiang’s first domestically developed composite Earth Pressure Balance (EPB) shield machine has officially rolled off the line and will be used in the Hangzhou S304 corridor power tunnel project (Phase II).

With a 4.89 m excavation diameter and a tight 150 m turning radius, this machine integrates eight core systems—including grouting, foam, and bentonite—in a compact, modular design. To meet strict space and performance demands, Adekom delivered a breakthrough: a tailor-made ultra-thin air compressor with stable 8 bar output, precision-engineered down to just 770 mm in width—5% slimmer than the previous model.

This compact powerhouse tackles the challenges of narrow TBM carriages, sharp curve structures, and high-dust tunnel environments—setting a new benchmark for underground equipment design.
