Southeast Asia is quietly becoming one of the fastest-growing biogas and biomethane markets in the world.

In Thailand alone, industries such as cassava starch processing, palm oil production, ethanol distillation, food processing, and livestock farming generate massive volumes of organic waste and wastewater — creating ideal feedstock for large-scale biogas projects.

Across the region, more project developers are now looking beyond electricity generation and exploring higher-value applications such as:

• Biomethane (CBG) for transportation

• Industrial renewable gas replacement

• Bio-LNG production

• Carbon reduction and circular economy solutions

As these projects scale up, reliable gas compression becomes a critical part of the system — from raw biogas handling to upgrading and biomethane distribution.
